Andrei Marian is a vibraphonist, composer, and improviser from Chișinău, Moldova, whose work explores the intersection of contemporary jazz and free improvisation. His music is characterized by textural sensitivity, fluid forms, and a focus on interaction in small-ensemble settings.
He began his musical journey in Moldova and later continued his studies in Belgium at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he worked with internationally recognized musicians and absorbed the influence of the European improvised music scene.
