Vanessa Matthys

Born: May 23, 1988

Vanessa Matthys graduated as a Master in jazz singing with David Linx at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She also studied at the “Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse” in Paris for one year as an Erasmus exchange student.

She became a finalist in the international jazz vocal competition in Riga, Latvia (2013) and the Dinant Jazz competition (2009).

Vanessa had the opportunity to collaborate on stage and in the studio with numerous jazz artists such as the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Dirk Brossé, Bill Carrothers, The Keystone Bigband, Drew Gress, Ivan Paduart, Frank Deruytter, Jan De Haas, …

Vanessa is a vocal teacher at the Conservatory of Kortrijk (Belgium).

Rowan Flack

Born: June 18, 1998

Rowan Flack is a jazz and folk-inspired vocalist and composer whose musical roots trace back to the BRIT School and Trinity Laban to Norway’s Edvard Grieg Academy, where she studied Norwegian folk and jazz on the west coast of Norway.

Her debut EP New Light Dwelling (2019) featured original vocalese set to Keith Jarrett’s ‘Belonging’ and was shaped by mountainous terrain, leaving London and the quiet unravelling of a long-term relationship. This project led to sold-out headline shows in Bergen and marked the beginning of her professional career, including a three-month jazz residency in Xiamen, China.

David Rivera

Born: September 1, 1983

David Rivera is a hot Puerto Rican singer/songwriter/drummer who is going places.  In fact, he and his band have just been selected to appear at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall for the 2026 GLOBALFEST on January 11.  And, he has already shared the stage with noted artists such as Puerto Rican singers Pedro Capó and Obie Bermudez, Nicaraguan singer Luis Enrique, singer/songwriter Danny Rivera, saxophonist/composer Miguel Zenon, bandleader/singer Gilberto Santa Rosa and many others.

David and his group “La Bambula" offer a mix of tropical elements seamlessly combined with R&B and hip hop as well as the powerful dance music of the Caribbean from the 1970s and then the music is overlayed with modern, provocative lyrics.  His music attracts an audience that enjoys the risk of listening to new rhythms and sounds.

Camilla Widell

Camilla Widell is a Swedish singer and songwriter crafting honest, heartfelt music at the crossroads of jazz, soul and blues. Based outside Uppsala, she writes with clarity and intention—no frills, no fuss—letting emotion and meaning lead the way. Her warm, expressive voice is her strongest signature, carrying a natural ability to move listeners with subtlety and depth. Influenced by artists such as Stacey Kent, Aubrey Logan, Monica Zetterlund and Viktoria Tolstoy, Camilla brings an unpretentious yet powerful presence to every song she creates.

Jake Tavill

Born: December 20, 1996

Founder and CEO of studios, entertainment, and media company Indigo Soul NYC and boutique indie label The Color Indigo Records, Jake Tavill is an artist, songwriter, producer, and engineer who’s goal in life is to create, and empower others to create, moving art. 

A graduate of NYU Tisch’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and the Village East Conservatory, Jake has released a number of albums (incl. Indigo Child and Twisted Ideology), coordinated Snarky Puppy’s renowned GroundUP Music Festival, worked with talented musicians from Jazz to Pop, scored and engineered for Film/TV (notably hit K-Dramas such as It’s Okay Not To Be Okay, A Piece of Your Mind, and Doona!), engineered for live and broadcast productions in world class venues such as Radio City Music Hall, and has had the pleasure to perform for audiences around the world.

Wes Smith is an in-demand musician who has performed with legendary names like Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Booker T Jones and Poncho Sanchez.  He has recorded commercially for artists like Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke, Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya.  His woodwinds can be heard frequently in the Film/TV world.

Smith’s musicianship has taken him around the globe - from the Hollywood Bowl, to palaces in Udaipur, to the beautiful Gold Coast of Australia.  One of his noted career highlights was performing at the White House in Booker T Jone’s band with President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama in attendance.  He was also featured in the finale of the Academy Award winning feature film, ‘Whiplash.’

Shane Hampsheir

Born: April 29, 1988

Shane Hampsheir is recognised within the music industry as both a very talented jazz/swing singer and a versatile and accomplished performer. As a professional singer, Shane has performed a number of highly acclaimed one-man shows in jazz clubs and theatres in the UK and Europe and is widely regarded as one of the country’s top swing singers and is in constant demand with many big bands and orchestras including the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.

Shane was asked by Universal Records to record Michael Bublé’s hit single ‘Home’ for the compilation album ‘You Raise Me Up – 2008’. In March 2009, the recording was re-released as the title track on a double CD featuring such artists as Katherine Jenkins, Hayley Westenra, Russell Watson, Louis Armstrong, Boyzone, Lesley Garrett, Girls Aloud, Jamie Cullum and many more. Since then, Shane’s version of ‘Home’ has appeared on 6 top 10 albums World-wide, with more of the biggest stars in the music world.
