MICHAEL POWERS, mentored by Jimmy Reed and a family of southern, porch-bluesmen, spent his (1960's) high school summers touring as part of James Cotton's Band. Influenced by the British Blues invasion & Jimi Hendrix, he formed a huge following while leading his cult band "Moonbeam" & as part of New York's most famous clubs: Great Gildersleeves, Manny's Car Wash, Maxx' Kansas City, The Ritz & CBGB...
