Jordan Proffer

Based out of Dallas, Texas, Jordan Proffer is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist with a history in both performing and teaching a variety of musical genres. In 2022, Jordan was chosen as the 2022 Yamaha Young Performing Artist Drumset Winner as well as one of ten finalists for the 2022 PASIC Drumset Competition. He has toured with Nick Finzer and German-based guitarist Peter Autschbach. During his time at the University of North Texas, Jordan was a member of the Grammy award winning One O’ Clock Lab Band, and deeply studied the jazz tradition with Quincy Davis, as well as Brazilian and Afro-Cuban drumming with Jose Aponte, and Indian drumming with Poovalur Sriji.
