Yes are one of the most influential and enduring bands in the history of progressive rock, renowned for their virtuosic musicianship, ambitious compositions, and a sound that blends rock, classical, jazz, and symphonic elements into a distinctive and expansive musical vision.

Formed in London in 1968 by singer Jon Anderson and bassist Chris Squire, Yes quickly distinguished themselves from their contemporaries through intricate arrangements, extended song structures, and a commitment to musical exploration. Early lineups solidified with the addition of guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, and drummer Bill Bruford, a configuration often regarded as the band’s classic era.
