Kevin Metzger is an accomplished guitarist and multi-instrumentalist flying down the road through broad plains of fusion. Matt Ingeneri

Matt Ingeneri is a Jazz guitarist based in Washington, DC who has performed at festivals and prestigious venues across China, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. He infuses Great American Songbook classics with bluesy elements of Hard Bop and Soul Jazz.

Matt has appeared at the DC Jazz Festival, Boston Arts Festival, China's West Meets East Festival, and the JazzKif and Ca Swing a Kin festivals in Africa. Other venues he's performed at include The Piano Man Jazz Club in New Delhi, No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur, Jazz@Southbridge in Singapore, and the Blue Note bar in Guangzhou China.

Amine Dhouibi

Born: October 17, 1990

Amine Dhouibi is an independent musician and composer dedicated to exploring and shaping a personal voice within the expansive world of contemporary music. Born in Sousse, Tunisia, he developed an early connection to music and the guitar during a period of introspection, using sound as a medium to translate his inner perceptions and imaginative visions. This search for expression continues to define his artistic path. Shao-Ju Chin

Born: June 26, 1979

Immersed in the rich traditions of church music from an early age, Shao-Ju gravitated toward the guitar during his teenage years—initially exploring its acoustic nuances. It wasn’t until he discovered the virtuosic stylings of Joe Pass that he truly embarked on a journey into the vibrant world of jazz. In 2007, he took a pivotal step by enrolling at the Musicians Institute, and upon graduating, he wholeheartedly dedicated himself to a lifelong career in music. After many fulfilling years as a sideman—absorbing the intricacies of collaborative performance—his creative spirit compelled him to forge his own unique path

Darin Layne

Born: March 5, 1972

Darin Layne is an Austin-based guitarist and composer known for his high-level playing, composing, recording, engineering and producing abilities. 

Darin’s prior albums, including D Shack (2021), Stringology (2017), Poison Flower (2015) and Left of Sunday Afternoon (2009) and ongoing performances in several genres, have made him an Austin favorite, and drawn international attention. A stellar sideman and producer, Darin has worked with some of the biggest names and talent in the music industry.

Darin has completed nine of his own albums, and played as a studio musician on hundreds of other albums. He’s performed in countless shows. He has been featured in magazines such as Guitar Player, JazzTimes, and All About Jazz.. As a top-call session guitarist in Austin, he plays Jazz, Folk, Blues, Latin, Funk, Rock, Classical and Brazilian Choro around the world.

Jan Knutson

Washington based guitarist and composer, Jan Knutson, incorporates elements of Jazz and Classical , Bluegrass and Pop to create his original works and unique takes on classic jazz standards. His music explores and stretches the wide range of the guitar as a solo instrument, showcasing his lyricism and virtuosic command. He has performed with some of the world’s finest guitarists including Frank Vignola, Martin Taylor, and Julian Lage, and recorded four solo albums, Looking Both Ways (2016) ,Out of Nowhere (2014), Tunnel Visions (2023), and  Here's the Thing (2023). He has performed in several music festivals including the Savannah Acoustic Music Seminar, Richmond Folk Festival, True Blue Jazz Festival, Marlow International Guitar Series, and was an Artist in Residence at the Strathmore Music Center in Washington, DC.

Andy Brown

Andy Brown is a guitarist based in Chicago. Born in New York in 1975, he has played professionally for over twenty five years. He has had a varied performing career that has included stints in Cincinnati and New York City.

Since coming to Chicago in 2003, Andy has been fortunate to work at many of the area's finest jazz venues with his own bands, as well as playing his unique brand of solo jazz guitar. He has backed visiting jazz names at places including The Jazz Showcase and Ravinia. Currently he plays solo guitar every Thursday at The Green Mill, leads his quartet twice a month at Andy's Jazz Club and performs with his trio bi-weekly at Winter’s Jazz Club.

Dave Clark
