Matt Ingeneri is a jazz guitarist based in Washington, DC who has performed in China, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. He has appeared at the DC Jazz Festival, Boston Arts Festival, China's West Meets East Festival, and the JazzKif and Ca Swing a Kin festivals in Africa.
A product of Washington DC's vibrant Hard Bop scene, Matt performed regularly for over a year with legendary Blue Note house bassist Butch Warren. Matt has also worked with other luminaries of the DC scene, including Chess Records session musician Jimmy Burrell, and his trio was featured weekly at the historic Bohemian Caverns Club.
Other venues he's performed at include Twins Jazz in DC, The Pianoman Jazz Cafe in New Delhi, No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur, Jazz@Southbridge in Singapore, and the Blue Note bar in Guangzhou China.
