Ronn Yedidia's PROPHETS

Composer/Pianist Ronn Yedidia created PROPHETS in the early 1980's while still a student at Juilliard. Its music is often referred to as an innovative melding of contemporary Jazz and Classical idioms. Scored for a quartet of flute, piano, electric bass and drums, PROPHETS music is ultra-virtuosic and tightly constructed - mostly composed and only partially improvised. It draws its harmonic and gestural influences from many of the Jazz and Fusion streams in existence, as well as from certain Modern Classical traditions.  

In 1984 PROPHETS was recognized by Sony BMG's senior executive producer Thomas Frost. Frost produced the group's first studio recordings, which attracted much interest from record labels and world-renowned musicians such as Julius Baker, Gil Evans, Hubert Laws and many others. PROPHETS' unique sound was frequently heard on radio stations around the world.

Patrick von Goble

Born: March 29, 1985

Patrick von Goble is an American self-taught guitarist, bassist, and multi-instrumentalist from Indiana, known for his work in metal (Knight Fall) and electronic/rock music, releasing albums like Worse World, Behemoth Legacy, and singles like "Fuyu no Odori," blending diverse genres and receiving recognition from the Musicians Institute. 

Fog Light

Fog Light is an instrumental rock trio from Finland. The band draws its influences from the surrounding world and strives to experiment with their instruments. Musical inspirations include vast array of bands and artists including 70’s proge greats like Yes, Rush and King Crimson. Also fusion jazz style is clearly present in their music. One can hear Allan Holdsworth, Tony MacAlpine, Tony Williams and such in Fog Light’s music.

The newest effort ”Abstract” features keyboards. This brings some new level for the overall sound and songs. Plenty of solos are present for each instrument while keeping the attention to song structures. Eight different tracks of fusion rock is now released and there are plans for the live activity too.

Dmytro Vorobiov

Born: June 19, 1990

Dmytro Vorobiov is a composer and multi-instrumentalist exploring the space between ambient soundscapes and jazz improvisation. His work draws on the energy and openness of Miles Davis' electric period, reframed through a modern, forward-looking lens. Working solo, he performs and records all instruments himself, building layered pieces that emphasize structure, texture, and emotional movement. Wandering Spaces is his debut full-length — a continuous journey that favors extended forms over song-by-song singles, and invites listeners into a patient, immersive sound world.

Julius Rodriguez

Born: September 4, 1998

Is it fair to call Julius Rodriguez and the community of young artists he works with jazz's new vanguard? Born in 1998, the musician does not bristle at that four-letter word the way many of his colleagues who practice great Black American Music do. Having studied jazz since childhood, attending its prominent youth programs and learning institutions while developing a playing dexterity and a composer's ear for its blues-, spirituals-, and ballad-related cornerstones, Julius recognizes jazz's cultural value and the processes that further its prestige as America's classical music.

Fabbio Alonso

Born: March 27, 1986

Emerging from the instrumental music scene in the second decade of the 21st century, Fabbio Alonso (electric bass / double bass) is a Brazilian musician based in Madrid, Spain. An active instrumentalist since 2006, his music blends the harmonic and rhythmic elements of his Brazilian roots with aspects of post-bop jazz, progressive rock, and the European impressionist tradition.

Transcendence

“Transcendence” is a new dynamic trio featuring keyboardist Bob Gluck, bassist Christopher Dean Sullivan, and drummer Karl Latham. 

Bob Gluck is a pianist, electronic musician, and writer. Among his thirteen recordings are Early Morning Star (2020, with Andrea Wolper, Kinan Azmeh, Ken Filiano, and Tani Tabbal) and Infinite Spirit: Revisiting Music of the Mwandishi Band (2016, with Billy Hart, Eddie Henderson, and Christopher Dean Sullivan). His University of Chicago Press books, now joined by Pat Metheny: Stories Beyond Words include You’ll Know When You Get There: Herbie Hancock and the Mwandishi Bandand The Miles Davis Lost Quintet and Other Revolutionary Ensembles. His book The Musical World of Paul Winter was published by Terra Nova Press in 2025. Other musical collaborators have included Aruan Ortiz, Michael Bisio, Joe Giardullo, Neil Rolnick, Andrew Sterman, Dean Sharp, and Jane Ira Bloom. Michael T. Geib

Born: February 11, 1985

Described as a “masterful” and “impressive” artist, double bassist Michael T. Geib defies musical boundaries. A true musical chameleon, he thrives in every artistic context and aspires to set a new standard of double bass playing in the twenty-first century. He has performed with countless notable artists, including but not limited to Benny Golson, Parry Karp, Linda Purl, Valerie Narjano, Jorja Fleezanis, Jamison Ross, Corrine Stillwell, Jodi Benson, 2CELLOS, David Benoit, Stefan Grasse, Kenny Garrett, Il Divo, Dave Douglas, Sharel Cassity, and Tess Remy-Schumacher. An in-demand recording artist with hundreds of credits to his name, he has performed on a multitude of projects for the Equilibrium, Naxos, Onyx Lane, Quam Audio, Sensory Overload, and Xolo Labels.
