Another Space is the second album by guitarist Mike Bruzzese , released on Bent River Records on April 17th,

2026. A deeply collaborative and expressive project, the

record captures the spirit of imagination, connection, and

shared artistry that shaped its creation. Through nuanced

compositions and inspired performances, Bruzzese and

his collaborators carve out a musical landscape that feels

both intimate and expansive— “another space” where

sound, feeling, and friendship intersect.

The album features an exceptional ensemble: Ben

Solomon on tenor saxophone, Mike De Masi on bass,

Adam Arruda on drums, and a special appearance by

vocalist Laura Anglade on Billy Strayhorn’s Lush Life.

Together, the group brings a depth of experience and

sensitivity to the music, balancing lyricism with

adventurous interplay.

Tenor saxophonist Ben Solomon—whose formative years

included touring with Wallace Roney and performing

alongside masters such as Chick Corea—adds a

searching, dynamic voice to the recording. Drummer

Adam Arruda, one of the most in-demand artists in the

New York jazz scene, contributes rhythmic clarity and

creative propulsion, having worked with leading figures

including Brad Mehldau and Kurt Rosenwinkel. Bassist

Mike De Masi, a vital presence in Montreal’s jazz

community, anchors the ensemble with warmth and depth.

At its heart, Another Space is both a personal statement

and a shared journey. Shaped by a spirit of trust and

openness, the album reflects Bruzzese’s commitment to

honest expression, collective improvisation, and the kind
