About the Album
"Crazy World of Love" is the title track of Louise Alexandra's third album, releasing March 27, 2026. Written by Stan Ellis and originally recorded by the late Rebecca Parris on her 1984 album A Passionate Fling — hers was the only recording — Louise Alexandra has written new vocalese to Rebecca's scat solo, stepping into her mentor's improvisational space with words that belong to the song. Backed by Dutch jazz master Rob van Bavel and his band, the track romps along with changing tempos and infectious energy. Stan Ellis himself wrote: "You put me back into a wonderful era in time, when Boston was alive with love, jazz and freedom to improvise life."
