Medeski, Martin and Wood: A Retro Phenomenon for the New Millenium
JM: I don't know. We did a gig in New York at the Knit and and two nights at Yoshi's in August.
AAJ: You guys gotta record.
JM: Well, you know, it's up to Joey. It's his band, so we'll see. I mean (saxophonist John) Zorn, Ribot, myself and this drummer, Kenny Wollesen (with Bill Frisell) have been doing gigs, too. Again, like organ style, you know, without a bass. More like a real organ group and that's been fun, too. We're doing a couple nights at Tonic next week and then that's it.
