Non vi è dubbio che per catturare con qualche credibilità la potenza musicale dei Blue Notes il concerto dal vivo fosse l'unico momento valido. Non che gli album in studio manchino di sostanza, o di creatività; però la fragranza delle danze, unita alla spavalderia delle improvvisazioni al calor bianco, si libera davvero in palcoscenico.
