About the Album
The track (4:06) opens with two minutes of intense, free improvisation - a sonic storm of multiple kalimbas (tuned into Moorish Phrygian, Super Locrian, Harmonic Minor and Blues scales) that sounds like a mirrored sideboard full of glass being shaken. A low, growling cello enters at the one-minute mark, moving at half-speed, creating a tectonic shift in the atmosphere.
The piece then hauntingly transitions into a stylized "music box" improvisation. It revolves around a repetitive, eerie theme that cycles with fluid variations, challenging the listener with its relentless, mechanical persistence. It is a visceral study of "composed bio-music": a living organism of sound that begins in chaotic freedom and ends in the hypnotic trap of a senescent memory.
