About the Album
2x Grammy Award-winning composer and pianist John Beasley performs on a Steinway Spirio alongside the Grammy-nominated SWR Big Band. "Fire and Train" is Beasley's arrangement of the James Taylor, the deeply personal autobiographical song released in 1970. "It’s the space where intellect meets emotion, where risk meets refinement," says Terence Blanchard in album notes for Invisible Piano.
