About the Album
52nd Street (Duncan Lamont) is a fabulous intellectual song about the street in New York with the name. Known as the jazz street, this song shares a chronological journey of the street using cleaver quotes throughout. I originally heard Kerrie Biddell do this song on her album and wanted to learn it and then when I was doing the song a dear friend of mine suggested to change the bridge to having it in a samba feel.
