Album Description
The newest release in pianist Ted Rosenthal's "Trios in 4 Acts," an ambitious series of albums featuring his two working trios, all recorded during the summer of 2024 and issued in regular installments beginning in March 2025. The new cd is an homage to early jazz, including ragtime, stride, swing classics, & his originals. Ted is supported by his longstanding trios as well as, on two tracks, his close associate, the late clarinet master Ken Peplowski.
