Olivia Moore
Olivia is a manchester based violinist who has studied in India with her guru Kala Ramnath, and is a long-established bandleader, fusing her love for Indian music and jazz in groups such as the Owl Ensemble and Unfurl.
She performs nationally and internationally with her own projects and with artists such as Elaha Soroor (Afghanistan) and Alabaster DePlume.
Much in demand for her intoxicating, microtonally-inflected playing style, Olivia is currently a member of Milapfest's Indo Jazz Club band with superstar pianist Zoe Rahman. She has also just started an exciting new duo project with Adam Fairhall on Accordian.
