Noel S. Go – Jazz Pianist

Noel S. Go is a Boise-based jazz pianist whose sound blends cool jazz sensibilities with expressive, modern phrasing. Drawing inspiration from Bill Evans, Dave Brubeck, Barney Kessel, Wes Montgomery, and Thelonious Monk, her playing balances rich harmony, rhythmic subtlety, and melodic storytelling.

Classically trained from a young age, Noel studied piano from ages 7 to 12 before transitioning into jazz at 13, where she developed a deep appreciation for improvisation and interpretation through discovery of the genre through hip hop samples. Now 27, she brings over a decade of musical study into every performance.

With a varied repertoire, Noel strives to craft sets that move with the room like watercolors blending across a canvas, shifting in tone, texture, and feeling. Her performances range from timeless standards like “Misty"  to jazz waltzes, ballads, and original composition.

Noel has performed throughout the Treasure Valley at venues including Riverside Hotel, Lost Grove Brewery, Salt and Light Lounge, Eagle Coffee and Bakery, Kevista Coffee, Nazca Coffee and the Boise Capitol City Market. She currently serves as the house pianist at Craft Lounge, where she performs weekly.
