Lasse Mørck
Lasse Mørck is a Danish double bassist and composer trained in Copenhagen’s vibrant jazz scene. A key figure in contemporary Scandinavian jazz, he has collaborated with leading European musicians such as Snorre Kirk, Tobias Wiklund and Jakob Dinesen, and has also spent two years in Mexico working with prominent jazz artists.
He has participated in over twenty recording projects and released four albums as a bandleader, earning Best Album of the Year (2017) and Best Young Composer in Denmark (2018). His work has been presented across Europe, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States, blending tradition with a contemporary jazz vision.
