Eden Har-Gil
Eden Har-Gil is a dynamic jazz drummer and composer based in Brooklyn, New York. Rooted in contemporary jazz and drawing on global influences, his sound is exploratory, rhythmically rich, and entirely original.
After graduating Magna cum Laude in Jazz Studies from William Paterson University in 2020, Har-Gil completed his Master's degree at NYU Steinhardt, studying under jazz luminaries Lenny White and Dave Liebman. He has performed at iconic venues including the Blue Note, Nublu, and Ornithology.
In March 2024, Har-Gil released his debut album Hearts of Palm under the Berlin-based XJAZZ! Music label. Featuring collaborations with Caroline Davis, Dezron Douglas, and Lo Wood, the album received widespread acclaim from High Res Audio, Illustrate Magazine, Plastic Magazine, and All About Jazz. All of Har-Gil's work as a bandleader is original; compositions that push the boundaries of contemporary jazz while synthesizing cross-cultural influences into a distinctive and personal voice. His anticipated second album, Ma'ayan, is set for release in 2027, featuring new original works for chordless quartet.
