Carolyn Lee Jones is a sophisticated vocalist reminiscent of the classic nightclub singers of the 50’s & 60’s with today’s musical sensibilities and a fresh approach. Five albums and five single recordings into her career, Miss Jones is just hitting her stride. She can be heard singing with her jazz groups; Jones and Her Jazz Men, Fresh Vintage Jazz Ensemble & The Satin Dolls Band. Her repertoire extends from Classic Jazz to Vintage Pop with a jazz twist. She is among a select few vocalists awarded the prestigious Sammons Center For The Arts Cabaret Vocalist Of The Year.

2008 Recorded in New York City, her debut CD Bon Appetit! garnered excellent reviews. A very special guest, the late Bob Dorough makes an appearance playing swinging piano and singing with Jones on a new duet arrangement of his famous tune Devil May Care.

2013 The Performer, her 2nd CD, reflects an eclectic mix of songs, similar to many of her live performances, she takes the listener on a lovely journey. Whether it’s her sultry voice on the classics, new arrangements on straight ahead tunes or interesting Cuban tinged pop melodies, reviewers stated that this album is a winner.

2016 In A Long White Room, where classic vintage pop is united with jazz- tinged arrangements. 60's & 70’s favorites are renewed with swinging rhythms, straight ahead jazz & latin grooves, soulful & sultry ballads and a final touch of R+B.

2019 Close Your Eyes. The album is reflective of her various collaborations musically fro a simple trio to 8 pc little big band. Continuing with her Fresh Vintage pop and jazz repertoire, the songs are about love in its many forms. A highlight of the album is " I Was A Fool" a song composed by world class bassist arranger Johnny Pate ( 97 years young) given to her from Pate as he " thought it would suit her voice perfectly. "

2021 Christmas Time Is Here - a thoughtful grouping of twelve songs for the holiday season. An extraordinary combination of rich, sultry, and expressive vocals, with music drawn from an eclectic repertoire of favorite holiday standards, some very obscure gems as well as original music from a local Dallas singer-songwriter Jeanie Perkins. Featuring sixteen musicians, including a string section, the music styles on this album range from Bossa Nova to swing, blues to smooth Jazz and from a backing trio to an eight piece band with a large ensemble sound.

Special Themed Cabaret - Jazz Shows – “Music Maestro Please” “ Songs From My Mother’s Piano Bench” ( taken from Jones' mother's sheet music ) "Pardon My Southern Accent” “ I Thought About You” ( the music of Johnny Mercer ) " Hooray For The Girls" (celebrating female composers and lyricists of the 20th century) and “ White Christmas” ( remembering home ).
