Vivo Musique Internationale, founded by Glenda Rush, is a boutique international publicity and cultural strategy house specializing in jazz, global, and tropical Latin music.
About Me
Vivo Musique Internationale is a boutique cultural strategy and artist leadership house working internationally across jazz,
global, tropical Latin music and culturally rooted music. Founded and directed by Glenda Rush, the company supports
artists, labels, institutions, and partners through long-term vision, artist-centered leadership, and carefully designed
international projects that balance artistic excellence with cultural responsibility.
Rooted in over four decades of professional experience across Canada’s cultural and entertainment sectors, Vivo Musique
Internationale operates at the intersection of strategy, production, communications, and cultural stewardship. Its work
emphasizes sustainability, respect for artistic identity, and meaningful engagement over volume-driven or transactional
models, serving both internationally established artists and carefully developed emerging voices.
Glenda is a tireless advocate for artistry — she excels at communicating the excitement and vitality of creative music to
audiences everywhere. - Darcy James Argue.
Award: “Manager of the Year” - Latin Awards Canada, 2018 & 2016
Glenda Rush is a senior music industry strategist, cultural producer, and educator whose career has evolved organically
from artistic practice into executive leadership, international communications, artist management, and cultural project
design. Her professional trajectory includes roles with PolyGram Records of Canada, Warner Music Canada, and Universal
Music Canada, where she worked across international repertoire, classics, jazz, global, and Latin music. As National Jazz
Publicist and Promotion & Marketing Manager with Universal Music Canada’s Verve Music Group, she collaborated with
many of the world’s most influential jazz and classical artists and led nationally recognized media and promotional
initiatives. From 2011-2026, Glenda has also served as a contracted senior publicist with Naxos of America and Naxos of
Canada, leading promotional campaigns across jazz and global music for multiple labels and artists within the Naxos
Global Distribution family. This work complements Vivo Musique Internationale’s independent practice, strengthening its
reach across international media, institutional networks, and global music ecosystems.
Vivo Musique Internationale emerged as the natural evolution of Glenda’s independent work with Canadian and
international artists — particularly within Latin, global, and jazz music — spanning bookings, production, media relations,
artist development, and promotion. This foundation of artist-centered, hands-on project leadership shaped the company’s
approach to long-term strategy and cultural stewardship.
Glenda Rush holds a B.A. Honours from the Theatre Department at York University in Toronto, Ontario and an Attestation
de spécialisation professionnelle-Business Marketing from the Ministère de l’éducation du loisir et du sport in Montreal,
Quebec. Since 2007, Glenda has been working as an educator with the Audio Recording Technology program at Vanier
College-CEGEP in Montreal where she leads seminars in career development, industry exploration, music promotion &
marketing. She is a member of ACTRA and SOCAN in Canada. www.vivomusique.com
