Kate Williams is an award-winning pianist, composer and arranger based in London.

About Me

Kate Williams has gained a reputation as both a distinctive player and composer having won the 2020 Album of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz awards for her album Finding Home - Four Plus Three meets Georgia Mancio. Kate’s father, classical guitarist John Williams, was featured on 2 tracks. She has produced several other albums with a variety of line ups including a duo with tenor legend the late Bobby Wellins (Smoke & Mirrors), her trio in collaboration with string quartet (Four Plus Three) and two septet recordings (Made Up and Atlas & Vulcana).



Kate has worked with many musicians and bands on the UK scene, including Georgia Mancio, Julian Siegel, Stan Sulzmann, Art Themen, Jim Mullen, Chris Biscoe’s Mingus Moves, and the Pete Hurt Jazz Orchestra.



Her latest album 'On The Wing Of A Dragonfly' is released on 1st May 2026
