I love jazz because - how could you knot? sic ... I was first exposed to jazz...by my dad with a box set from Readers Digest - the Glen Miller Years. I met [musician name]...This list is. Stupid Long.... Al Scott, Billy Cobham, Catherine Lima, Deirdre Cartwright, hopefully I can return to this list to add a whole host of artistes and try not to offend anyone. The best show I ever attended was...too many to list. The first jazz record I bought was... guessing: American Garage. My advice to new listeners...listen to everything. Or whatever else you have in mind. Your tastes may change as you get older or and hear more jazz realities.
