About Me
Daniel Peck is a fifteen-year radio veteran and lifelong jazz aficionado. With extensive experience in educational (WXUT and WEJY FM), public (WGTE) and commercial radio (WVKS, WWWM, WSPD and WRVF), Daniel funded and launched the Live at the Bop Stop program in 2021, taking over as host in 2023.

My advice to new listeners is to not push yourself to view jazz from the same perspective as people who live it. Love it on your own terms, and be comfortable loving it on your own
terms. I'll never profess to articulate as comprehensively as some as to what makes a specific song so enjoyable, but I will work to preserve the performances that underpin them,
and do my best to share them.
Jazz is best experienced live. The organic nature of the genre makes it unique and I believe the more you experience live (or live to air) jazz, the more you find to love.
