My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz as a child listening to my Aunt Marnie's Mark Murphy, June Christy and Stan Kenton's LP's.
The best show I ever attended was Nancy Wilson on stage with the Count Basie Band!
The first jazz record I bought was Bill Evan's with Symphonic Orchestra.
My advice to new listeners is to listen to as much as you can with an open mind and then decide what you like!
