Gespenster is the German term for ghosts. The song title refers to rather metaphorical ghosts; ghosts in the form of thoughts or ideas that haunt us and frighten us — but sometimes also leave us in awe and wonder. It is the first single of the new album Sending a Phoenix by Birgitta Flick & Antje Rößeler (wismART 2024, Germany).
